Covey is signing with the Eagles' practice squad Wednesday, Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports.
Covey was waived by the Eagles on Tuesday but will rejoin the organization a day later. He appeared in 17 games with Philadelphia last year and could join the 53-man roster at some point if the team's receivers deal with injuries.
