Anderson (triceps) is expected to be out a few weeks according to head coach Brian Daboll, Pat Leonard of the New York Daily News reports.
Barring any setbacks, Anderson could still be ready for Week 1. He appeared in seven games for the Giants during his rookie campaign and logged two sacks. He is again looking at a depth defensive end role in the upcoming season, assuming his health is up to par.
