The Falcons cut Grant from their practice squad Saturday, William McFadden of the Falcons' official site reports.
Grant originally signed with Atlanta's practice squad Nov. 12 and was let go four days later. He re-signed to the team's practice squad Thursday but had an even shorter stint this time around, as he was cut Saturday. Grant's last NFL action came in 2021, when he played in 11 contests with Chicago and in four games with Miami.

The Falcons signed Grant (undisclosed) to the practice squad Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Grant signed with the Falcons on Aug. 10 to compete for a spot on the 53-man roster during training camp, but he was let go with an injury settlement Aug. 22. He last saw NFL regular-season action in 2021, during which he was selected to the Pro Bowl as a return specialist. If he's elevated to the active roster, Grant would give the Falcons a spark on kickoff and punt returns while also providing depth at wide receiver.

Atlanta released Grant (undisclosed) from the reserve/injured list Thursday after reaching an injury settlement, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
Grant missed all of 2023 due to a ruptured patellar tendon that he sustained in the Browns' preseason finale against the Chiefs. He was able to catch on with the Falcons on Aug. 10, but he placed on the team's injured reserve five days later due to an unspecified injury. Now that an injury settlement has been reached, the 2016 sixth-round wide receiver will have an opportunity to sign with another team once he is fully healthy.

He had a tryout with the Giants in July, but he will now head to Atlanta to compete for a return specialist role with the Falcons. His last full season was in 2021, when he played 15 regular-season games between the Dolphins and Bears, accumulating 250 punt return yards and one touchdown while adding 11 catches for 132 yards and two touchdowns.
