Fortner (ankle) is officially active ahead of Sunday's game against Kansas City, John Shipley of SI.com reports.
The Jaguars' starting center is good to go after participating in a limited fashion during Thursday and Friday's practices. Even though he's playing, Fortner is still nursing an ankle injury, which could be something to look out for as Sunday's game progresses.
Coach Doug Pederson said Friday that Fortner (ankle) will suit up Sunday versus the Chiefs, Michael DiRocco of ESPN.com reports.
Fortner and RG Brandon Scherff (ankle) will both face Kansas City, per Pederson. Both starting offensive lineman picked up ankle injuries Week 1, but neither will have to miss any time.
