Traded to Dallas
The Cowboys have acquired Booth via trade from Minnesota in exchange for Nashon Wright, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.
Booth will make his way to Dallas after serving a supplementary cornerback role with the Vikings in the 2023 season. The 6-foot defensive back should fit in behind Trevon Diggs on the Cowboys' depth chart, likely to compete against rookie Eric Scott for that backup position.

Limited to special teams
Booth did not have a tackle and played all his 11 snaps on special teams in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay.
Booth was expected to be fighting for a starting cornerback job by now as a 2022 second-round draft pick, but he had an underwhelming preseason and looks relegated to special teams.
Practicing again
Booth (knee) has been participating in OTAs, Will Ragatz of Sports Illustrated reports.
Booth had an injury-plagued rookie season and struggled in coverage in his limited opportunities on the field. He registered 12 total tackles in just six games last season and was placed on injured reserve in November after having surgery on his meniscus. The 2021 second-round pick out of Clemson appears to have moved past his procedure and will now compete for an increased role in the Vikings' cornerback corps as he enters his second year in the NFL.
Making progress
Booth (knee) is doing well in his recovery from knee surgery, and should be ready for training camp, head coach Kevin O'Connell said Thursday, Chris Tomasson of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Booth underwent surgery in November and is expected to be limited during OTAs. However, if he can be healthy by training camp, he should be able to begin the 2023 campaign on time. The 2022 second-round selection made six appearances last season for the Vikings, recording 12 tackles.
