Tate was released by the Cardinals on Monday, Josh Weinfuss of ESPN.comreports.
Tate spent most of 2022 on the Eagles' practice squad before receiving a reserve/future deal with Arizona in January. The 26-year-old is best known for his time with the Bengals where he appeared in 35 contests over four seasons, making 61 catches on 118 targets for 799 yards and two touchdowns. He'll now work to find a new opportunity.

Gets another deal with Cardinals

Tate signed a reserve/future contract with Arizona on Monday, Howard Balzer of GoPHNX.com reports.
Tate spent the majority of the 2022 campaign on and off the Eagles' practice squad before joining up with Arizona on Jan. 4. This marked the first time in the 25-year-old's career that he did not appear in a regular-season game, and he has now accumulated 17 receptions since the 2019 season. Tate figures to compete for a depth role in this heavily stocked receiving corps.
Joins Cardinals' practice squad

Tate was signed to the Cardinals' practice squad Wednesday, Darren Urban of the Cardinals' official site reports.
Tate will join Arizona after being let go from the Eagles' practice unit Dec. 13. The wide receiver has spent the entirety of the season on and off of Philadelphia's practice squad, but he'll now provide the Cardinals with an additional depth option in Week 18. With DeAndre Hopkins (knee) and Robbie Anderson (back) both banged up, it's possible that Tate is elevated to the active roster for Sunday's regular season finale against the 49ers.
