Staying in Philadelphia
Latest Headline: Published 2023-03-14
Scott agreed Tuesday with the Eagles on a one-year contract, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Scott turns 28 years old in April and has spent his entire five-year career with the Eagles as a backup running back. The Eagles reportedly added Rashaad Penny to their backfield Tuesday, and it wouldn't be surprising if Philadelphia isn't done bolstering the position group this offseason. Scott would likely need one or two injuries ahead of him in order to land on the fantasy radar. He handled just 54 carries for 217 yards and three touchdowns in 2022 and wasn't a factor in the passing game.

Free agency looms
Latest Headline: Published 2023-02-27
Scott logged 54 carries for 217 yards and three touchdowns across 15 regular-season games with the Eagles in 2022. He also secured five of six targets for 15 yards.
Scott was additionally an important contributor on special teams for Philadelphia, as he amassed 406 yards as a kick returner. The soon-to-be 28-year-old is scheduled to become a free agent when the new league year begins, but he could realistically re-sign with the Eagles on another one-year deal, as he did in both 2021 and 2022. Scott has been consistently reliable across his five years with Philadelphia, never once dipping below 4.0 YPC.
Gets into end zone Sunday
Latest Headline: Published 2023-01-08
Scott carried the ball nine times for a season-high 54 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 22-16 win over the Giants.
The running back scored Philadelphia's only TD of the game on an eight-yard run in the first quarter and wound up leading the team in rushing yards, as with the Eagles ahead 16-0 at the half, they had little incentive to give Miles Sanders a heavy workload. Scott wraps up the regular season with 217 rushing yards and three touchdowns over 15 games in a depth role, and his usage isn't likely to change in the playoffs.
Two carries in loss
Latest Headline: Published 2023-01-02
Scott rushed twice for six yards in Sunday's 20-10 loss to the Saints.
Scott made a minimal impact in a game in which the Eagles offense fell flat as a unit, though his two carries were two more than he'd managed in either of the previous two weeks. He also out-snapped fellow depth running back Kenneth Gainwell by a 18-15 margin and tied him in touches. That could have made Scott an interesting Week 18 play had the Eagles managed to secure a first-round bye this week, allowing them to rest their starters for the regular-season finale, but the loss means that Miles Sanders will remain the only Philadelphia running back worth considering.
