Asamoah suffered a knee injury in the Vikings' Week 17 loss to the Packers and was unable to play in Week 18. After improving from a limited practice Wednesday, it's likely the rookie will be able to return in some capacity for Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Giants.

Asamoah sustained the injury during last week's loss to the Packers, and he'll be unavailable for the final game of the regular season. The rookie third-round pick recorded 17 tackles (11 solo) and one forced fumble in 16 games this year.
