Asamoah (ankle) was listed as a full participant on Thursday's injury report, Alec Lewis of The Athletic reports.

Asamoah hasn't played since Week 7, but it appears the second-year pro will be ready to return to the field Monday against the Bears. His ability to suit up should bolster the Vikings' special teams unit and depth at linebacker.

Asamoah (ankle) is inactive for Sunday's game against the Saints.

Asamoah was a limited participant in all three practices leading up to Week 10, but will ultimately sit out for the third straight week. He'll look to make his return in Week 11 against the Broncos.

Missing another week

Asamoah (ankle) is inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Falcons.

The second-year linebacker was able to log limited practice sessions throughout the week after missing the Vikings' Week 8 win over the Packers, but it now looks like his ankle issue will hold him out for another week. With Asamoah missing more time, Nick Vigil is expected to see an uptick in work in Minnesota's linebacker corps.

Won't play Sunday

Asamoah (ankle) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Packers.

The second-year linebacker out of Oklahoma was held out of practice all week with an ankle injury, so it's no surprise that he'll be inactive this coming Sunday. Asamoah has appeared in all seven of Minnesota's games thus far, recording six total tackles and playing primarily on special teams (57 percent of snaps).

Will play Sunday

Asamoah (toe) is active Sunday against the Chiefs.

Asamoah was able to log limited practices throughout the week and he'll be good to go for Week 5. He should continue seeing work on special teams and be a depth option at linebacker for Minnesota.

Limited role on defense

Asamoah had two total tackles in Sunday's loss to Tampa Bay. He played just two snaps on defense.

Asamoah played 12 snaps on special teams. He began training camp as a starting linebacker, but took a back seat to Ivan Pace during Sunday's game. Asamoah may be limited to special teams unless injuries strike the linebacking corps.

Back on practice field

Asamoah (undisclosed) is back at practice Monday, Kevin Seifert of reports.

Asamoah has been sidelined since mid-August due to an undisclosed injury, but he's back on the field for Monday's walkthrough. The 2022 third-round pick looks primed to start at interior linebacker for the Vikings, so it will be helpful if he's able to get back to full health in time to potentially take some reps in Saturday's preseason finale against the Cardinals.

Remains sidelined

Asamoah missed practice Wednesday and has been sidelined with an undisclosed injury since last week, The Athletic reports.

The 23-year-old is expected to start for Minnesota at interior linebacker in 2023, so his continued absence is a worry.
