The Seahawks signed Brown to their practice squad Wednesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
The 24-year-old running back was dropped from the Seahawks' practice squad in late November, but it now appears the team has had a change of heart. Brown most recently appeared in a regular-season NFL game with the Raiders in 2022, playing 61 special-teams snaps and failing to record a stat.

The Seahawks cut Brown from the practice squad Tuesday, John Boyle of the team's official site reports.
After failing to make the Raiders' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, Brown signed with the Seahawks' practice squad Sept. 18. The 2022 seventh-rounder has not been elevated to the active roster this season, and he'll now look to catch on with a team in need of running back depth.

Brown spent all of last season on IR but was healthy during training camp this year and logged seven carries for 25 yards during the exhibition late, adding three catches on six targets for 43 yards. The UCLA product was selected by the Raiders in the seventh round of the 2022 NFL Draft and played in six regular-season games as a rookie, with all 61 of his snaps coming on special teams.

Brown played in six games as a rookie in 2022, serving exclusively on special teams. His 2023 campaign ended abruptly after he was placed on injured reserve with an undisclosed issue at the close of training camp, but he'll seemingly enter the new campaign without any lingering issues.

The 2022 seventh-round pick out of UCLA played in six games for the Raiders last season with all of his snaps coming on special teams. He didn't play during the preseason and is set to miss the 2023 season.
