Placed on injured reserve
The Buccaneers placed Hall (ankle) on injured reserve Tuesday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
Hall's placement on IR only officially rules him out for the next four games, but the dislocated ankle and fractured fibula in his right leg he suffered Week 1 is expected to keep the depth cornerback out for the remainder of the season. He appeared in nine regular-season games for the Jets last season.

Likely out for season
Hall (leg) was ruled out for Week 2 against the Lions by head coach Todd Bowles on Monday, while also adding the injury is probably season-ending, Scott Smith of the Buccaneers' official site reports.
Hall was carted off the field during Sunday's 37-20 win over the Commanders after suffering a dislocated ankle and fractured fibula in his right leg. The Virginia product will likely be headed to injured reserve at some point over the next couple of days and begin focusing on his recovery and return, which most likely won't happen until the 2025 campaign.
Suffers significant injury
Hall (ankle) suffered a dislocated right ankle and a fractured right fibula in Sunday's 37-20 win over the Commanders, Tom Pelissero of NFL Network reports.
Hall was carted off the field in the second half of the game and he now appears to be dealing with a long-term, if not season-ending, injury. A timetable for the cornerback's return will likely be provided in the near future.
Done for day
Hall suffered a right ankle injury and has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's contest against the Commanders, JP Finlay of NBC Sports Washington reports.
Hall suffered a lower body injury in the third quarter, which required the training staff to bring out the cart. An update on the cornerback's status moving forward will likely be provided in the near future, but he could be looking at an extended absence.
Agrees to terms with Tampa Bay
The Buccaneers signed Hall to a one-year deal Friday, Jenna Laine of ESPN.com reports.
After spending the first four years of his career with the Jets, the 26-year-old cornerback has found a new home in Tampa Bay. Hall appeared in just nine games (two starts) in 2023, recording five total tackles and defending two passes, including one interception. He's expected to compete for a depth role in the Buccaneers' secondary throughout the offseason.
Getting the start
Hall will start for D.J. Reed (concussion) against the Broncos, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
Hall will get the opportunity, as the team elects to keep Michael Carter at nickel, and with Brandin Echols also out with a hamstring injury. Hughes suggests the Jets may shade safety help in Hall's direction to help the fourth-year pro in coverage.
