Fotheringham signed to the Raiders' practice squad Wednesday.
After spending the entire 2022 season on the Raiders' practice squad, Fotheringham finds himself in the same position ahead of the 2023 campaign. The tight end will now look to make an impression on the coaching staff as he practices with the team this season.

The Raiders waived Fotheringham on Tuesday.
Fotheringham spent all of last season on Las Vegas' practice squad after originally signing with the team as an undrafted free agent out of Utah. The 25-year-old tight end inked a reserve/future contract with the Raiders in January, but he'll now hit waivers once again before becoming an unrestricted free agent, should he go unclaimed.

The Raiders signed Fotheringham to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Fotheringham signed with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent in May of 2022 but failed to make the team's initial 53-man roster. After getting cut, he joined Las Vegas' practice squad, where he spent his entire rookie campaign. The 6-foot-4 tight end will now have a chance to compete for a roster spot throughout the offseason and into next year's training camp.
