Feeney (knee) is inactive ahead of Sunday's game against the Raiders, Courtney Cronin of ESPN.com reports.
The veteran offensive lineman logged two limited practice sessions and one DNP this week, making it no surprise that he's unable to suit up for Sunday's contest. Feeney has spent the majority of his time on special teams this season, recording only two total offensive snaps through six games.
Dealt to Chicago
Feeney was traded from the Dolphins to the Bears on Monday in exchange for a sixth-round draft pick, Brad Biggs of the Chicago Tribune reports.
Feeney will pack his bags for Chicago, where he figures to serve as interior depth on the offensive line.
Lands in Miami
The Dolphins are signing Feeney to a contract Thursday, Marcel Louis-Jacques of ESPN.com reports.
Feeney joins Miami as a depth center set to back up Connor Williams. The veteran reserve lineman spent the last two seasons suiting up for the division-rival Jets.
