Jones (toe) started Saturday's 22-14 preseason win over the Cowboys but didn't record a tackle.
Although he was previously dealing with a toe injury, Jones got the green light for the second preseason game. The 26-year-old signed a three-year, $51.53 million contract with the Seahawks this offseason to be their starting defensive end. Jones has posted at least 5.5 sacks in three straight seasons.

Sustains toe injury
Jones sustained a toe injury late during Sunday's practice, Bob Condotta of The Seattle Times reports.
Coach Pete Carroll didn't have any specifics regarding Jones' injury following Sunday's practice, and it's unclear whether the issue will impact his availability for Thursday's preseason opener against the Vikings. Although he missed the final four games of the 2022 campaign with the Broncos due to a hip labrum injury, but he was healthy to begin training camp in 2023.
Healthy ahead of 2023 campaign
Jones has been an active participant at the Seahawks' OTAs this spring, Gregg Bell of The Bellingham Herald reports.
Jones missed the final four games of the regular season last year with the Broncos after suffering a season-ending hip labrum injury in December, but he appears ready to go ahead of his first campaign with Seattle in 2023. The Seahawks signed the defensive end to a lucrative three-year, $51.5 million contract in March and the 6-foot-3 athlete is expected to start opposite of right end Jarran Reed this season. Over 13 contests with Denver in 2022, Jones recorded a career-high 47 tackles, including 6.5 sacks, while also forcing a fumble.
Has three-year deal with Seattle
Jones (hip) agreed to a three-year, $51.5 million contract with the Seahawks on Monday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Jones was sidelined by a hip injury to close out his Broncos tenure, but assuming the defensive lineman passes a physical, his deal with Seattle should become official when the NFL league year begins Wednesday. He had between 5.5 and 6.5 sacks in each of the past three seasons with the Broncos.
Finishes season with 6.5 sacks
Jones (hip) made a career-high 47 tackles (24 solo) to go with 6.5 sacks and one forced fumble while playing 13 games in the 2022 season.
Jones led the Broncos in sacks for the 2022 campaign despite playing in just 13 games. The veteran defensive end missed the final four games of the season after landing on injured reserve with a hip injury. It appears Jones won't require surgery, and he should be good to go in the offseason as he approaches the free-agent market. One of the Broncos' most solid young players on defense, Jones is likely to see many suitors around the league looking to bolster their defense with a young and rising star. It's possible the 26-year-old could sign a new deal with Denver, but he will likely command a sizable contract.
