The Packers signed Miller on Tuesday.
Miller signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in 2022 and spent most of his rookie campaign on their practice squad. However, he's dealt with numerous injuries during his short time in the NFL and ultimately reached an injury settlement with New York a week ago. He's presumably healthy now and will look to carve out a role in Green Bay's young wideout corps, which is currently without two rookies in Dontayvion Wicks (concussion) and Grant DuBose (undisclosed).
Miller (undisclosed) was waived by the Giants with an injury settlement Monday, Dan Salomone of the Giants' official site reports.
Miller was unable to take part in minicamp due to the unknown injury and was placed on IR on June 17. Instead of being forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign, he'll now have the opportunity to join another team as long as he can prove he's healthy.
Miller (undisclosed) reverted to the Giants' injured reserve Friday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Miller was waived by New York with an injury designation Thursday, but he cleared waivers and has reverted to IR. He'll now be forced to miss the entire 2023 campaign unless he reaches an injury settlement. The 2022 UDFA had a similar situation last year and is still looking to make his NFL regular-season debut.
Miller (undisclosed) was waived with an injury designation Thursday.
Miller was unable to compete during minicamp, according to Dan Duggan of The Athletic. The 25-year-old missed the majority of the 2022 campaign with a broken wrist, finishing the season on the team's practice squad. The waiving of Miller cleared the way for the Giants to sign defensive lineman Kobe Smith, who has spent time on the Titans, Buccaneers, Eagles, and Falcons' practice squads since 2022, but has yet to appear in an NFL game.
The Giants signed Miller to a reserve/future contract Monday.
Miller joined up with the Giants as an undrafted free agent in May, but he broke his wrist in early August and was placed on injured reserve. The team then waived him from IR with an injury settlement Sept. 2, and he went un-signed before rejoining the Giants' practice squad Oct. 25. Miller now will look to stay healthy heading into the 2023 campaign in order to make his NFL debut.
