Reaches injury settlement
The Jaguars released Mondeaux (undisclosed) off IR with an injury settlement Tuesday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Mondeaux is now able to seek opportunities elsewhere after being placed on the team's injured reserve list on Aug. 14. He signed with Jacksonville in March after registering 16 tackles in 11 games with the Giants last season.

Mondeaux has landed on the Jaguars' injured reserver due to an undisclosed injury.
Mondeaux was competing for a depth role with the Jags before this move. It remains unclear what specific injury he is dealing with. He is now set to be sidelined for the remainder of the season unless both he and the team can come to terms on an injury settlement down the road.
Headed to Jacksonville
Mondeaux agreed to a contract with the Jaguars on Wednesday, Demetrius Harvey of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Mondeaux spent last season bouncing between the Giants' active roster and practice squad while registering 16 tackles (five solo) in 11 games. The Jaguars continue to add depth to their shorthanded defensive line, as they also signed Michael Dogbe earlier Wednesday to provide depth.
