After sending Zuber to their injured reserve list late in August, the Raiders have now ultimately decided to cut ties with him. The 26-year-old wideout will have to look for another opportunity to make an impression elsewhere.

The Raiders placed Zuber (undisclosed) on injured reserve Sunday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Zuber spent the 2022 season on the Raiders' practice squad after bouncing around the league since joining the Patriots as an undrafted free agent in 2020. He caught one pass for 18 yards in two preseason games. Zuber is set to miss the 2023 season unless he reaches an injury settlement with Las Vegas.

Zuber spent last summer with the Raiders before being apart of final cuts. He was back with Las Vegas earlier this offseason but was let go in April. Zuber knows coach Josh McDaniels' system well after appearing in four games for the Patriots in 2020.

Zuber will now head to the open market despite signing a future/reserve contract back in January. The 25-year-old spent the entirety of last season on the Raiders' practice squad and hasn't appeared in an NFL game since 2020.
