Peppers (shoulder) was listed as limited on Monday's practice estimate.
Peppers has been dealing with a hip injury to start the season, but he's been able to play through it. The addition of a shoulder issue is new for the Michigan product. Considering he was able to play 100 percent of the team's snaps on Sunday, it's unlikely that the injury would keep him out of Thursday's game against the Jets, but his practice status over the next couple of days will likely be worth monitoring.

Peppers (hip) does not have an injury designation for Sunday's contest against Seattle.
Peppers was able to play through the hip issue Week 1 versus the Bengals and was on the field for every one of New England's defensive snaps, finishing with six tackles (three solo). The veteran safety began this week with a pair of limited practice sessions but wasn't restricted Friday and is in line to suit up against the Seahawks on Sunday.

Peppers (hip) was a limited participant at the Patriots' practice Wednesday.
Peppers was able to play through his hip injury in Week 1, recording six total tackles (three solo) in the team's 16-10 win over the Bengals. The safety's ability to practice in any capacity Wednesday seems to suggest that Peppers didn't suffer any sort of setback against Cincinnati. He'll have two more chances to increase his activity at practice prior to Sunday's matchup with the Seahawks.

Peppers was a late addition to the injury report, not showing up until Saturday. However, the issue appears to be minor, as the Michigan product will take the field Week 1 and should start at free safety for New England.

Peppers was added to the Patriots' injury report Saturday with a hip injury and is now listed as questionable for Sunday's contest against the Bengals.
Peppers is considered a top IDP option at safety and more importantly for the Patriots, an absolute linchpin for a defense that is expected to be among the better units in the NFL in 2024. Expect more information regarding his status closer to Sunday's kickoff.

New England signed Peppers to a three-year, $24 million contract Friday, Field Yates of ESPN reports.
Peppers was arguably the Patriots' steadiest presence on either side of the ball during the 2023 season, and he's now being rewarded with a solid pay day. He figures to again play a near-every down role next to Kyle Dugger this year.

Peppers finished the 2023 regular season with 78 tackles, two interceptions and a sack in 15 games with the Patriots.
Per Evan Lazar of the Patriots' official site, Peppers profiles as an ideal box safety in today's NFL, while having finished fifth among safeties in Pro Football Focus' grade (87.3) and also being tied for sixth among all defensive backs in run stops (17) during the 2023 campaign. Peppers remains under contract with New England this coming season, which sets the stage for him to reprise his key role in the team's secondary.

Peppers missed the Patriots' last two games with this hamstring issue but after a week of limited practice sessions, he's got a shot at returning in Week 18. If the 28-year-old is unable to suit up Sunday, Jalen Mills would likley start at free safety alongside Kyle Dugger.
