Signed to Raiders' practice squad
After failing to make the Raiders' 53-man roster at the end of training camp, Guyton signed with Las Vegas on the practice squad Wednesday.
Guyton spent the first five years of his NFL career with the Chargers, during which he caught seven touchdowns across 46 regular-season outings. He spent the first two weeks of training camp on the active/PUP list with an undisclosed injury, but he was able to suit up for the Raiders' three preseason games, during which he registered six catches (on seven targets) for 51 yards. Guyton should get a call up if any of the Raiders' wide receivers on the active roster were to miss time.

Comes off PUP list
The Raiders activated Guyton (undisclosed) off their active/PUP list Monday, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Guyton had been dealing with an undisclosed injury that forced him to miss almost two weeks of Raiders practice, but it now appears as if he's moved past the issue. The North Texas product has struggled with injuries over the last two seasons, appearing in just 11 regular-season games with the Chargers. If Guyton is able to remain healthy, he's expected to serve as a solid deep threat in his first year with Las Vegas.
Starting camp on PUP list
The Raiders placed Guyton (undisclosed) on the active/PUP list Tuesday.
Guyton is eligible to be activated off the PUP list at anytime during training camp once he is healthy enough to return from his unspecified injury. After spending the the first five years of his career with the Chargers, Guyton signed a one-year contract with the Raiders in May. He played in just eight regular-season games last season due to a leg injury, finishing with just 10 catches on 21 targets for 89 yards and one touchdown. Once he's returned, Guyton should see additional opportunities on offense as the fourth wide receiver behind Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Tre Tucker after the Raiders placed Michael Gallup on the Reserve/Retired list Tuesday.
Links with Las Vegas
The Raiders signed Guyton to a contract Monday, Jeremy Fowler of ESPN.com reports.
Guyton is coming off a 2023 season in which a leg injury forced him to spend the first eight games on the PUP list, and he ended the next eight contests with a disappointing total of 10 catches on 21 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown. In the past Guyton has been a serviceable deep threat, having put up a career-best 31-448-3 receiving line on 48 targets back in 2021. He'll compete for a depth role behind Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers and Michael Gallup.
Won't play in Week 18
Guyton (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's clash against the Chiefs.
Guyton didn't play the first eight weeks of the season while on the PUP list with a knee injury. He returned and didn't log any catches Week 9 but then turned some heads the following week when he caught four passes for 41 yards and a touchdown. It's been a rough time for Guyton since then, however, as he's failed to record more than two receptions or 19 yards in any of his subsequent six games even with the team's top wideout, Keenan Allen (heel), missing half of those matchups. It remains to be seen where Guyton fits into the team's future plans, but he'll finished his fifth NFL campaign with disappointing totals of 10 catches on 21 targets for 89 yards and a touchdown.
Rarely sees field Week 17
Guyton played three offensive snaps and didn't see any targets in Sunday's loss to Denver.
Guyton had already been seeing his opportunities decline in recent weeks, and he played a season-low 25 percent of the Chargers' defensive snaps against Buffalo last Saturday. However, he was wiped out of the gameplan almost entirely against the Broncos, taking the field for just three snaps. The lack of playing time Sunday came even as top wideouts Keenan Allen (heel) and Joshua Palmer (concussion) were unable to suit up, further emphasizing Guyton's drop-off since he posted a promising four catches for 41 yards and a touchdown in this second game of the season Week 10 versus Detroit.
May have lost No. 3 role
Guyton caught one of his two targets for 12 yards in the 24-22 loss to the Bills on Saturday.
Guyton played just 17 offensive snaps, a dramatic decline from the previous six weeks in which he averaged around 38. It appears as if the speedster seems to have lost his job as the No. 3 wideout as Alex Erickson played a whopping 37 snaps, although he once again did very little with the opportunities. With Easton Stick under center for the rest of the season, there's very few options that warrant fantasy consideration.
Small factor in loss
Guyton caught both of his targets for 19 yards in the 63-21 loss to the Raiders on Thursday.
With the game out of reach very early into the contest, new starting quarterback Easton Stick spread the ball around plenty. Guyton's 31 offensive snaps were pretty typical, as was his lackluster usage. With head coach Brandon Staley gone and the Chargers essentially out of the playoff race, it wouldn't be surprising to se Guyton completely phased out for younger talent.
Another one-catch performance
Guyton brought in his sole target for eight yards in Sunday's 24-7 loss to the Broncos.
Guyton saw a season low in offensive snaps with only 21, which was less than half of both rookie receiver Quentin Johnston (60) and veteran castoff Alex Erickson (45). Additionally, considering Joshua Palmer (knee) is trending toward a return this week, and with quarterback Justin Herbert (finger) now out for the year, Guyton will likely see an even smaller role on an already struggling offensive team.
