Outduels Josh Allen in OT win
Hurts completed 18 of 31 passes for 200 yards and three touchdowns with one interception and added 65 rushing yards and two TDs on 14 carries in Sunday's 37-34 overtime win over the Bills.
Josh Allen posted better yardage totals and produced four touchdowns of his own, but Hurts had the last laugh as he dashed for a game-winning 12-yard TD with under three minutes remaining in OT. The two dual-threat QBs combined for four rushing scores on the day, an impressive feat considering that neither the Buffalo nor Philadelphia defenses had allowed a rushing TD by a quarterback all season prior to Sunday. Hurts is now the first QB in NFL history to record three straight seasons with 10 or more touchdowns on the ground, and with 18 passing TDs through 11 games, he's just five away from establishing a new career high in that category. The Eagles have won three straight nailbiters against Super Bowl-caliber opposition, and their gauntlet will continue in Week 13 at home against the 49ers.

Two rushing TDs in statement win
Hurts completed 14 of 22 passes for 150 yards, no touchdowns and one interception in Monday's 21-17 win over Kansas City. He added 29 yards and two touchdowns on 12 rushing attempts.
Hurts had just 69 passing yards and an interception through three quarters, but he got his team back into the game with a 10-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter, cutting Kansas City's lead to 17-14. His arm finally heated up in the fourth, as Hurts connected with DeVonta Smith for a 41-yard gain down to the 1-yard line to set up a quarterback sneak for the go-ahead touchdown on the next play. Neither team scored in the final 6:20, allowing the Eagles to avenge their Super Bowl LVII loss and improve to 9-1. Hurts' 15:9 TD:INT through the air is nothing to write home about, but his nine rushing touchdowns heading into a Week 12 home game against the Bills are just two back of Raheem Mostert's league-leading total.
Sidesteps injury report
Hurts (knee) wasn't listed on the Eagles' first Week 11 injury report Thursday.
In the three games prior to the team's Week 10 bye, Hurts tended to a left knee injury that forced him to wear a brace for the final two outings. Hurts told EJ Smith of The Philadelphia Inquirer on Thursday that he used the midseason respite to rest and receive treatment on the knee and that he also didn't wear the brace at Philadelphia's initial session of Week 11 prep. Hurts thus appears set for Monday's rematch of Super Bowl LVII against a Chiefs defense that ranks fifth in the NFL against the pass this season at 176 yards per game.
Plays through knee injury Sunday
Hurts played all 59 of the Eagles' snaps on offense in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Cowboys, but he appeared to be playing in pain for most of the second half of the contest after taking a direct hit to his left knee late in the second quarter, Tim McManus of ESPN.com reports.
Hurts had already been dealing with pain in the same knee for multiple weeks leading up to the contest and wore a brace on the leg for the third game in a row Sunday. Though he's proceeded to play 100 percent of the snaps on offense in each of the Eagles' first nine games, Hurts did need to leave the sideline early in the waning seconds of the first half to get extra treatment in the locker room. He was back on the field to begin the second half and turned in another productive outing for fantasy managers, committing no turnovers while finishing with 36 yards and a touchdown on the ground and completing 17 of 23 pass attempts for 207 yards and two more scores. The Eagles' Week 10 bye couldn't come at a better time for Hurts, who will get some extended rest before the team returns to action Nov. 20 at Kansas City in Week 11. While his knee injury is something his managers should still keep an eye on, Hurts will most likely open Week 11 prep as a full practice participant coming out of the bye.
Produces three TDs against Dallas
Hurts completed 17 of 23 passes for 207 yards and two touchdowns while gaining 36 rushing yards and a touchdown on 10 carries in Sunday's 28-23 win over the Cowboys.
While he didn't deliver a lot of yardage, Hurts came up big when it counted, tossing a 29-yard TD to DeVonta Smith and a four-yard score to A.J. Brown in the third quarter as the Eagles erased a 17-14 halftime deficit. The QB had earlier gotten into the end zone on a Brotherly Shove from the one-yard line in the second quarter. Hurts has produced at least three touchdowns in three straight games, posting an 8:1 TD:INT over that stretch while adding two rushing TDs, and he'll be able to rest over a Week 10 bye before getting ready for a Super Bowl rematch with Kansas City in Week 11.
Four-touchdown breakout in win
Hurts completed 29 of 38 passes for 319 yards with four touchdowns and no interceptions in the Eagles' 38-31 win over the Commanders on Sunday. He also rushed four times for six yards and lost a fumble.
The Eagles got off to yet another sluggish start, but Hurts was key in bringing Philadelphia back to notch what turned out to be a furious comeback that included 21 fourth-quarter points. The start signal-caller connected with favorite target A.J. Brown for touchdown passes of 16 and 25 yards before adding scoring tosses of 38 and eight yards to DeVonta Smith and Julio Jones in the fourth quarter. Hurts also narrowly missed out on yet another rushing touchdown via the infamous Brotherly Shove play, but he fumbled before reaching the goal line. Hurts' touchdown tally was his highest of the season, although he did see his three-game streak with a rushing score snapped. Hurts next takes aim at the Cowboys in a Week 9 home divisional showdown.
Sidesteps injury report
Hurts (knee) wasn't listed on the Eagles' first Week 8 injury report Wednesday.
Hurts gutted through a left knee injury this past Sunday against the Dolphins, completing 23 of 31 passes for 279 yards, two touchdowns and one interception, rushing 11 times for 21 yards and one more TD and losing his only fumble. While he hasn't missed an offensive snap through seven games, he's already committed more turnovers (10) than he did all of last season (eight). With his health intact ahead of Sunday's contest, Hurts now will set his sights on a Commanders defense that allowed him to pass for 319 yards and two scores back in Week 4.
Should be fine for Sunday
Coach Nick Sirianni said Wednesday that Hurts (knee) should be fine to play without restrictions this Sunday against the Commanders, Reuben Frank of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
Hurts played through the injury in Sunday's 31-17 win over Miami, albeit with a brace over his left knee in the second half. While he isn't expected to miss any games, it is possible Hurts' rushing production suffers in the short term.
Expected to be fine for Week 8
Hurts (knee) is not expected to miss any game action, and there's a good chance he doesn't even miss practice this week, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Hurts was sporting a brace on his left knee during Sunday night's 31-17 win over the Dolphins but was adamant after the game that he is "fine." This seems to confirm that. Hurts' eight interceptions are already two more than he threw all of last season, and his touchdown rate has dropped in 2023. Hurts gets a juicy Week 8 date with the flailing Commanders. He tossed two touchdowns and threw for a season-high 319 yards versus Washington back in Week 4.
