Makes difference as rusher
Burrow completed 19 of 28 pass attempts for 208 yards, no touchdowns and no interceptions in Sunday's 17-7 win over the Giants. He added four rushes for 55 yards and a touchdown.
Burrow got off to a hot start in an unconventional way, as he scrambled for a 47-yard touchdown on the Bengals' opening drive. The story wasn't as impressive a passer, as Burrow was consistently under pressure and struggled to sustain long drives. Entering the contest, he had multiple touchdowns in four straight games while topping 300 passing yards twice in his last three matchups, so there's no reason to panic over the lackluster showing Sunday night.

Huge performance not enough Sunday
Burrow completed 30 of 39 passes for 392 yards and five touchdowns with one interception in Sunday's 41-38 overtime loss to the Ravens. He added one rushing yard on two carries.
The five TDs were a career high for Burrow, and most of his production went to Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins, who combined for a massive 19-276-4 line on 26 targets. Burrow has a dazzling 12:2 TD:INT over the last four games as the Bengals' offense has ramped back up to its peak form, but the team has only one win in that stretch to show for it. He'll try once again to out-chuck his atrocious defense in Week 6 against the Giants.
Efficient in first victory of 2024
Burrow completed 22 of 31 passes for 232 yards, two touchdowns and one interception in Sunday's 34-24 win over the Panthers. He added one rush for 10 yards.
Burrow led the Bengals to three touchdown drives in the first half, two of which he concluded with passing scores. The highlight came on a 63-yard touchdown to Ja'Marr Chase, who picked up the majority of his yardage after the catch. Burrow attempted only 12 passes in the second half due to game script, which ultimately limited his numbers. However, he now has multiple scores in each of his past three games and has topped 250 yards on two occasions in that span. Things will get trickier for him in a Week 5 divisional showdown with the Ravens.
Throws for three TDs on MNF
Burrow completed 29 of 38 pass attempts for 324 yards and three touchdowns (no turnovers) in Monday's 38-33 loss to the Commanders. He also added four rushing yards on one attempt.
Burrow put together his best fantasy performance through three weeks, missing just nine passes in a high-scoring affair. Despite taking his third loss of the season, the Bengals' signal-caller likely earned some late-matchup victories for fantasy managers following Monday's gaudy stat line. Burrow is not far removed from back-to-back seasons with 4,475+ passing yards and 34+ touchdowns in 2021 and 2022 respectively. Perhaps this is the game that spurs an underperforming Cincinnati offense heading into a road tilt against the Panthers on Sunday.
Loses nail-biter to rival QB
Burrow (wrist) completed 23 of 36 passing attempts for 258 yards and two touchdowns while adding nine rushing yards on six attempts in Sunday's 26-25 loss to Kansas City.
Burrow also committed a pivotal turnover when he was strip-sacked for a touchdown in the opening moments of the fourth quarter in a narrow loss to Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs. The LSU product saw a marked improvement in his fantasy score following a Week 1 dud against the Patriots. Burrow wasn't his sharpest from the pocket, watching his completion percentage regress to 67.7 following Sunday's loss. Cincinnati's franchise QB didn't visibly appear to be limited by his surgically-repaired wrist, downplaying any concerns raised on social media earlier this week. Despite taking the loss, Burrow's stock is trending upwards following a solid performance against a difficult opponent as the Bengals prepare to face the Commanders next Monday.
Downplays concerns about wrist
Burrow said Wednesday that his surgically repaired wrist isn't impacting his ability to throw downfield, Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Burrow downplayed any discussion of a problem after videos of him flexing his right wrist on the sideline made the rounds on social media after a Week 1 loss to the Patriots. He said he flexes his wrist "all the time", including at home, in order to keep the "joint loose" because "that's part of ligament injuries," Ben Baby of ESPN.com reports. While this likely will remain a topic of discussion if the Bengals offense continues struggling, Burrow is listed as a full participant on Wednesday's injury report ahead of a Week 2 game at Kansas City. Wideout Tee Higgins, on the other hand, missed another practice Wednesday with the hamstring injury that kept him out Week 1.
Quiet showing in Week 1 loss
Burrow completed 21 of 29 passes for 164 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions and rushed four times for 15 yards in the Bengals' 16-10 loss to the Patriots on Sunday.
Burrow's outlook coming into the afternoon had some uncertainty attached, considering the absence of Tee Higgins (hamstring) and a murky outlook for Ja'Marr Chase's ability to play a full complement of snaps due to an illness and his very sparse practice time over the last month-plus. The connection between the quarterback and his top target proved to be in solid shape -- Chase was on the receiving end of six of Burrow's completions and 62 of his yards -- but the talented signal-caller clearly missed the speed and downfield threat typically offered by Higgins. Burrow took three sacks and averaged just 5.7 yards per attempt, a testament to a Patriots defense that clearly didn't seemed bothered by the team's underdog status. Burrow will hope to have Higgins back and will need to take his game up several notches in Week 2, as Cincinnati heads into Kansas City to take on the defending champion Chiefs next Sunday.
No limitations in practice
Burrow (wrist) was a full practice participant Wednesday.
As expected, given that Burrow long ago completed his rehab from last year's wrist surgery and even made an appearance in the preseason. Ja'Marr Chase's return to practice is much bigger news, with the Bengals listing him as a limited participant due to 'rest' after a prolonged run of absences attributed to contract negotiations. There hasn't been confirmation Chase will play this Sunday against the Patriots, but it seems more likely than not.
Not in line to play Thursday
The Bengals plan to rest starters -- a group that includes Burrow -- in Thursday's preseason finale against the Colts, Michael Hull of the team's official site and Kelsey Conway of The Cincinnati Enquirerreport.
With the team having just concluded joint practices with the Colts, the Bengals are inclined to rest key players in their exhibition finale. Burrow's next start is thus slated for Sept. 8 against the Patriots, with the biggest looming question -- in terms of Cincinnati's offense -- ahead of that contest being the status of top wideout Ja'Marr Chase, whose contract situation remains unresolved.
