Kunaszyk sustained a sprained MCL in the Browns' preseason finale against the Chiefs on Saturday. He'll now be required to sit out for the first four games of the season.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski noted Sunday that Kunaszyk will be out for multiple weeks after suffering a torn MCL in Saturday's 33-32 preseason loss to the Chiefs, Scott Petrak of the Elyria Chronicle-Telegram reports.
Kunaszyk left in the first quarter of Saturday's game and did not return. He was a key piece for the Browns' as a rotational piece at linebacker and contributed mostly to special teams, totalling 22 tackles over 15 games in 2022. Matthew Adams and Mohamoud Diabate are candidates to replace Kunaszyk as depth pieces behind starting middle linebacker Anthony Walker.

Kunaszyk has been ruled out for the remainder of Saturday's preseason game against the Chiefs with a knee injury, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
Kunaszyk appears to have injured his knee at some point during the first quarter, leaving his status moving forward up in the air. The 26-year-old totaled 22 tackles over 15 games while primarily contributing on special teams for the Browns last year.

Kunaszyk (hand) re-signed with the Browns on Monday.
Kunaszyk played primarily on special teams in 2022 but also contributed as a depth linebacker when injuries depleted the depth chart. He was placed on injured reserve with a hand injury in Week 17, but Kunaszyk has since recovered.
