The Jets activated Hardee (hamstring) to their active roster Saturday.
Hardee has appeared in just five games for New York this season, but it now seems as if he's completely moved past his hamstring issue. The 29-year-old cornerback was selected to the Pro Bowl as a special-teamer in 2022, and he's expected to help fortify the Jets' special teams unit for the remainder of the season.

Hardee (hamstring) was designated to return from the Jets' injured reserve Wednesday, Ethan Greenberg of the team's official site reports.
The Jets now have 21 days to officially activate Hardee off injured reserve where he's spent the past seven weeks since suffering a hamstring injury versus the Broncos. The 29-year-old was a limited participant in Wednesday's practice and can contribute on special teams once he returns.
Hardee (hamstring) was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
Hardee suffered the injury in Week 5 against the Broncos and has since undergone surgery. He was given a four-to-six week timeline to return, and he will now be out until at least Week 11 against the Broncos. Hardee had played exclusively on special teams in five games this season.
Hardee underwent hamstring surgery Friday and is expected to be sidelined 4-6 weeks, Rich Cimini of ESPN.com reports.
Hardee's timeline for recovery indicates an IR stint is likely. He was injured in Sunday's 31-21 victory over the Broncos and subsequently aggravated the injury at practice this week. Although he only provides depth on defense, the 29-year-old is one of the Jets' top special teams players.
Hardee (hamstring) is listed as out for Sunday's game versus Philadelphia.
Hardee will be sidelined for a regular-season game for the first time since 2021 in Week 6. He's played 114 snaps through five games in 2023, all of them on special teams.
