Doss will remain in Los Angeles as a member of the Chargers practice squad.
One day after failing to make it through final roster cuts, Doss is back with the team as a member of the practice unit. He will now continue to work with the team and be available to join the active roster at any point should the team require his presence. The Chargers are the journeyman pass catcher's fifth team since entering the league in 2019.

Doss did not make the Chargers' 53-man roster and was waived by the team Tuesday.
Doss spent his first two seasons bouncing back and forth between the Raiders practice squad and active roster. He subsequently spent time on the practice squads of the Falcons, Jets, Giants and most recently the Chargers in 2022. It looks like he is trending towards that role again in the upcoming season, but Los Angeles will need to make him that offer first.
The Chargers signed Doss to a reserve/future contract Tuesday, per the team's official site.
Doss, who failed to record an offensive snap for the second consecutive campaign, will stick around Los Angeles throughout the summer and into training camp where he'll eventually compete for a roster spot once again. The 26-year-old wide receiver joined the Chargers' practice squad back in October after being waived by the Giants at the end of the preseason.
