Past hamstring issue

Enagbare returned to practice Wednesday, Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
The third-year outside linebacker had missed the beginning of Green Bay's training camp with a hamstring injury, but it now appears that he's moved past the issue. Enagbare recorded 37 total tackles, including 2.0 sacks, across 17 regular-season games in 2023, and he's expected to serve as a rotational edge rusher once again in 2024.

Enagbare has been dealing with a hamstring injury at the Packers' training camp, Pete Dougherty of the Green Bay Press-Gazette reports.
Enagbare was a full participant at the team's OTAs in May after suffering a season-ending knee injury in January, but he's now nursing a hamstring issue. The 24-year-old appears to be unlikely to be available for Saturday's preseason opener in Cleveland.

Enagbare was originally believed to have suffered a torn ACL in Green Bay's wild-card loss to the Cowboys, but tests later revealed that wasn't the case, and he's now back on the field in full capacity. The 2022 fifth-rounder has played in all 34 regular-season games since entering the league, making 11 starts and recording five sacks off the edge. Enagbare is a key rotational piece off the edge for Green Bay.

Enagbare was able to avoid a significant injury, which was originally believed to be an ACL tear, during the Packers' wild-card win over the Cowboys last season. It's not clear how involved he was while participating, and if he did team or individual drills. However, his ability to be on the field this early in his recovery is good news for the South Carolina product and the Packers.

Enagbare (knee) did not sustain a "complete tear" of his ACL in Green Bay's wild-card victory over Dallas, according to Ryan Wood of USA Today.
It had been assumed up to this point that Enagbare was working back from a severe injury that -- based on the timing -- could have cost him the entire 2024 season, but GM Brian Gutenkust revealed that he has not undergone surgery and may not need to, so he could be ready to return sooner than anticipated.
Tending to ruptured ACL

Enagbare thought after he picked up the injury that it might be a bone bruise, but that turned out to be wishful thinking. He'll undergo surgery to repair his knee, and his availability for the start of the 2024 season is now in doubt.

Enagbare suffered an ACL injury in the team's 48-32 wild-card win over the Cowboys and his absence Saturday comes as no surprise. With Enagbare unavailable, Brenton Cox is a candidate to see an uptick in usage at outside linebacker against the 49ers.

Enagbare is feared to have suffered a torn ACL during Green Bay's wild-card win versus the Cowboys on Sunday, Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reports.
Enagbare suffered a knee injury after logging one tackle (one solo) during Sunday's playoff victory. Lukas Van Ness and Brenton Cox should be in line for expanding roles during next week's divisional-round game versus the 49ers if Enagbare's injury is as serious as it's initially feared to be.

Enagbare tallied three tackles (two solo) and one sack in the Packers' 17-13 Week 5 loss to the Raiders.
Enagbare's sack was his first of the season and fourth of his career. He did his damage across 29 defensive snaps (45 percent), but he also was on the field for 13 special teams plays (65 percent). The Packers have a Week 6 bye, so the second-year edge-rusher will begin preparing for the following week's game against the Broncos.
