The Titans activated Brown (ankle) from injured reserve Saturday, Ben Arthur of FoxSports.com reports.
Brown last played Week 3 against Cleveland, when he saw all of his 17 snaps on special teams. He was subsequently placed on IR with an ankle injury and was designated for return Oct. 30. The second-year safety logged a trio of full practices during Week 11 prep and appears set to return Sunday in Jacksonville, though he probably won't see much work on defense.

The second-year safety out of Miami (Ohio) was designated to return from injured reserve in late October, and even after a full week of practices, he won't suit up for this Sunday's contest. Brown appeared in three games for Tennessee before suffering an ankle injury, and he recorded one pass deflection while primarily playing on special teams.

The transaction opens a 21-day window during which Tennessee can activate Brown before they'd be forced to shut him down for the remainder of the season. The Titans' injury reports this week will provide more information regarding his potential availability for Thursday's game at Pittsburgh.
