Needham (Achilles) was seen running off to the side at Tuesday's practice, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
Needham suffered a torn Achilles tendon in Week 6 last season and missed the remainder of the year. Now seven-plus months removed from the injury, he remains in the rehab phase. Needham was re-signed to a one-year deal as a free agent in March and will compete for the third cornerback job behind starters Xavien Howard and newcomer Jalen Ramsey.

Needham is recovering from an Achilles tear suffered in October. Prior to sustaining the injury, Needham had 21 tackles in six games for Miami in 2022.

Needham's recovery from the torn Achilles he suffered in October is going well as he enters the offseason as a free agent. The 25-year-old appeared in six games this season with the Dolphins, recording 21 tackles and two pass deflections. Needham wants to return to Miami in 2023, but only time will tell where he ends up next season.
