Snags two passes Sunday
Toure was targeted three times and caught two passes for 18 yards in Sunday's 38-20 victory over the Bears.
Toure tallied only one target and one reception over the final eight games of the 2022 season, but he topped both numbers in Week 1 alone despite finishing fifth among Packers wideouts in snaps. Although Toure produced more than the two rookie receivers who earned a spot on Green Bay's roster, the playing time and the fact another wideout ahead of him on the depth chart -- Christian Watson (hamstring) -- did not play Sunday suggest his opportunities to make an impact will be limited.

Two receptions in finale
Toure was targeted four times and caught two passes for 16 yards in Saturday's 19-15 preseason victory over the Seahawks. He also returned three punts for 17 yards.
Toure did not start Saturday even with fellow wideouts Romeo Doubs and Dontayvion Wicks out with hamstring injuries, which does not bode well for him opening the season with a reliable role on offense. He may even be on the roster bubble, but it seems more likely than not that he makes the cut, particularly if the Packers plan to use him as a second option in the return game behind Keisean Nixon. Toure returned at least one punt or kick in all three exhibition contests Green Bay played.
Tallies three receptions
Toure was targeted four times and caught three passes for 56 yards in Friday's 36-19 preseason victory over the Bengals.
Toure made a mark during last year's preseason schedule, and he did the same in his first opportunity to do so in 2023, tallying two catches of at least 25 yards. All three of the passes he caught were thrown by backup quarterback Sean Clifford, so although he is listed as a starting wide receiver on the depth chart on Green Bay's official website, he is presumably no higher than the fourth option at his position behind Christian Watson, Romeo Doubs and Jayden Reed.
Could open season as No. 3 wideout
Toure may end up competing with rookie Jayden Reed for Green Bay's No. 3 receiver job in offseason workouts and training camp, Matt Schneidman of the Athletic reports.
Toure was a seventh-round pick last season and stuck with the Packers, but he saw only 112 snaps and 10 targets in 11 games while fellow rookies Christian Watson (second round) and Romeo Doubs (fourth round) both enjoyed extended runs as starters. Those two are back with quarterback Jordan Love under center in 2023, while 2022 team target leader Allen Lazard and long-time slot man Randall Cobb are off in New York with Aaron Rodgers. It all adds up to a nice opportunity for the 25-year-old Toure, who nonetheless looks like the underdog in a hypothetical competition against Reed, an incoming second-round pick who is seemingly a more natural fit in the slot.
Suits up 11 times as rookie
Toure was targeted 10 times and caught five passes for 82 yards and a touchdown over 11 games in the 2022 season.
Toure made only a minimal impact in his rookie season, but the seventh-rounder did spend the entire campaign on the 53-man roster and made a couple plays around the midway point. He will have a chance to carve out a role as a sophomore, but he will find himself behind fellow youngsters Christian Watson and Romeo Doubs, and likely at least another player or two.
