No targets in season opener
Miller played 17 snaps (10 offensive) and didn't record a target, but he registered one solo tackle. He also returned one punt for four yards.
Miller signed this offseason to replace Damiere Byrd as Atlanta's top deep threat, but as expected, it'll be difficult for the speedster to garner many targets playing in a run-heavy offense that also features three former first-round picks at skill positions. While he was a non-factor on offense, Miller did some good things on special teams and split punt-return duties with Dee Alford.

Makes cameo appearance Friday
Miller caught his only target for nine yards in Friday's preseason win over the Dolphins.
After four seasons in Tampa Bay, Miller signed a one-year deal with Atlanta in the spring and was thought to be set as the No. 3 wideout behind Drake London and Mack Hollins. However, while the Falcons sat out all their main starters in the team's preseason opener, Miller actually saw brief action and caught his only pass from third-string QB Logan Woodside on the opening drive. He may not be as secure in his spot as was previously assumed, but unless another receiver makes a strong push in camp, Miller should head into Week 1 with a role in three-wide sets.
Headed to Atlanta
Miller agreed to a one-year deal with the Falcons on Tuesday, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
The 2019 sixth-rounder finished up the 2022 season with 23 catches on 40 targets for 185 yards in 15 games with the Buccaneers, working in a wide receiver corps that also included Mike Evans, Chris Godwin, Russell Gage and Julio Jones. Prior to his addition, Atlanta's top WR options were Drake London and Mack Hollins. As the team's depth chart currently stands, Miller should see an uptick in volume in 2023 given the Falcons' clear need to bolster their pass-catching unit.
Quiet finish to season
Miller didn't log a target over six snaps from scrimmage during the Buccaneers' 31-14 wild-card loss to the Cowboys on Monday night. He finished the 2022 regular season with 23 receptions (40 targets) for 185 yards and no touchdowns and one rush attempt for eight yards across 15 games.
The end to Miller's season -- and likely finish to his Buccaneers tenure as well -- was fittingly quiet. Factoring in Monday's blanking, the fourth-year speedster recorded just two receptions for 15 yards on six targets over his final eight games. Miller was also inactive for two games during the campaign, and as an unrestricted free agent, it appears he's likely headed elsewhere in 2023.
One catch in Week 18 loss
Miller secured one of two targets for eight yards in the Buccaneers' 30-17 loss to the Falcons on Sunday.
Miller logged 21 snaps from scrimmage, his highest tally since Week 9, as the Buccaneers pulled most starters before halftime. However, while the speedster recorded his first reception since Week 13, Miller still saw minimal action and is likely to be a virtual non-factor on offense during next Monday night's wild-card matchup against the Cowboys.
Limited to special teams Week 17
Miller did not see any snaps on offense during the Buccaneers' 30-24 win over the Panthers in Week 17.
The fourth-year speedster hasn't recorded a catch since Week 13 and has logged just four targets overall since that contest, but Week 17 marked the first 2022 game in which he's enjoyed active status yet failed to log a snap from scrimmage. However, Miller could bounce right back with a solid allotment of playing time in Sunday's regular-season finale versus the Falcons, considering the Buccaneers are likely to afford reserves such as Miller more snaps than usual as the game unfolds.
