Team-high 80 receiving yards
Hill caught four of five targets for 80 yards in Sunday's 30-27 loss to the Bills.
Hill had just one catch for six yards in the first half but wound up leading the Dolphins with 80 receiving yards. He got 55 of those yards in the third quarter, when Hill made a nice 28-yard catch along the sideline to set up a go-ahead field goal and added a 27-yard catch over the middle. Hill had at least 82 receiving yards in 11 of 16 appearances during his outstanding 2023 regular season, but he hasn't reached that threshold since a 130-yard receiving performance in Week 1. He also hasn't scored since the season opener, so Hill will be looking to end a seven-game touchdown drought when the Dolphins face the Rams on MNF in Week 10.

Ready for Week 9
Hill (rest/foot) practiced fully Friday and doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest at Buffalo, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
After sitting out Wednesday's session for rest purposes, Hill was listed as limited on Thursday's injury report with his lingering foot issue. Logging a full practice to end Week 9 prep thus has paved the way for him to be available to the Dolphins offense. In Tua Tagovailoa's return to action this past Sunday against the Cardinals, Hill burst back onto the scene with six catches (on nine targets) for 72 yards.
Limited in Thursday's practice
Hill was listed as a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a foot injury, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
On the Dolphins' first Week 9 injury report issued Wednesday, Hill's absence from practice was attributed to rest, but a day later, the team is citing a lingering foot injury as the reason behind the wideout's reps being capped. Assuming Hill's limitations Thursday were maintenance-related and not the result of him aggravating the lingering foot issue during practice, he should be fine to handle a full snap load in this Sunday's game in Buffalo. However, whether or not Hill carries a designation into that contest may hinge on what he's able to do at Friday's practice.
Rested Wednesday
Hill sat out Wednesday's practice for rest purposes, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Hill approached this past Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals listed as questionable after not practicing Friday due to a foot issue. The wideout ultimately suited up for the contest and played 88 percent of Miami's snaps on offense, finishing with six catches for 72 yards on nine targets. With no injury attached to his name on Wednesday's injury report, Hill is slated to face the Bills on Sunday in quarterback Tua Tagovailoa's second start since returning from a concussion that landed him on injured reserve.
Not at practice
Hill (foot) isn't practicing Wednesday, Joe Schad of The Palm Beach Post reports.
The Dolphins added Hill to their injury report last Thursday and later listed him as questionable for Sunday's eventual loss to the Cardinals. He played 88 percent of snaps in the contest while leading the team in targets (nine) and receiving yards (72), appearing unimpeded by the foot injury. A return to practice Thursday and/or Friday would put Hill on track to play again this Sunday at Buffalo.
Six catches in Tua's return
Hill (foot) caught six of nine targets for 72 yards in Sunday's 28-27 loss to the Cardinals.
Hill's 69 first-half receiving yards matched his highest full-game total during the four games Tua Tagovailoa missed due to a concussion. After starting hot with Tagovailoa back in tow, Hill added only three yards in the second half, likely due in part to the effects of a foot injury that had the speedster listed as questionable heading into Sunday's loss. Hill led the NFL with 1,799 receiving yards last season, but Tua's return seems unlikely to precipitate that level of production from Hill in 2024. Miami's passing game will look to pick things up in Week 9 against the Bills, who held Hill to 24 receiving yards in Week 2.
Ready to play Sunday
Hill (foot) is active for Sunday's game against the Cardinals.
A late-week addition to the Dolphins' injury report, Hill was a limited participant at practices Thursday, then sat out Friday's session entirely. Despite carrying a questionable tag into the weekend, Hill didn't seem to be at any major risk of sitting out against Arizona, as head coach Mike McDaniel said Friday that he was optimistic the star wideout would be ready to play Sunday. As expected, Hill has now been officially cleared to play and should see a big boost in his fantasy prospects with the return of quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (concussion), who will start after returning to practice this week and being activated from injured reserve. During Tagovailoa's four-game absence, Hill averaged just 3.5 catches and 41.0 yards from scrimmage per contest and failed to score a touchdown while he was on the receiving end of substandard quarterback play from the likes of Skylar Thompson, Tyler Huntley (shoulder) and Tim Boyle.
In line to suit up Sunday
Hill (foot) is expected to play in Sunday's Week 8 game against Arizona, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
Hill has dealt with a foot injury throughout the week and did not practice Friday after logging a limited session Thursday. Despite the end-of-week reduction in participation, it appears the wideout will be able to play against the Cardinals on Sunday. Hill sunk to a season-low one catch for eight yards last week against the Colts, but his outlook is much improved with Sunday's return of QB Tua Tagovailoa, who missed Weeks 3-7 while recovering from a concussion.
Listed as questionable
Hill (foot) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Cardinals not practicing Friday, Cameron Wolfe of NFL Network reports.
Hill was added to the Dolphins' Week 8 injury report after being limited at practice Thursday, and then was held out of Friday's session prior to being deemed questionable for Sunday's 1:00 ET contest. That said, head coach Mike McDaniel noted earlier in the day that he's optimistic Hill will play this weekend, and if he does, the wideout's fantasy prospects should be boosted by the looming return of starting QB Tua Tagovailoa (concussion).
